Grade: Easy / Medium / Hard / Severe Activity: Night Hike to Prabagad, which is a fort located in between Matheran and Panvel. One can see it from express highway as V-Shaped mountain. The left one is Kalwantin durg & on the right side is Prabalgad. But there is a dense forest on the way till the the top of fort Prabal. Historical references indicate that Freedom fighter Umaji Naik made a stay there in 1826.

Grade: Easy / Medium / Hard / Severe Activity: Trek + Camping + Valley Crossing at Peb Fort which is situated on northeast side of Panvel, at a distance of 3-4 km on west side of Neral. This is the most beautiful one-day trek, with a dense forest on the way to the fort. Sometimes one needs to literally find their way through to the top in the dense forest. It takes around 4 hrs to reach the cave under the fort. The actual fort is above a cave, which is difficult to climb. From Peb, it takes another 2 hrs to descend to the nearest road-head. It’s an awesome & adventurous trek which includes a cavestay, outdoor cooking and valley crossing. Lots of green fields to see and ample of rain to soak!!! (

Activity: Trek + Camping + Climbing at Tel Baila, which is near the Ambey Valley, which is a kind of challenge to the trekkers. Tel Baila village on rough roads is surrounded by huge cliffs and dense forest trek through passes from where one can see the natural twin wall of Tel Baila. There is a temple of local goddess at the base of the twin wall. It is also known as climber’s paradise as it offers challenges. There are lot of ancient man made water tank & caves at the base as well as on the climbing routes. Forts like Dhangad, Sarasgad and Sudhgad are seen from the base of the twin walls. Activity: Night Hike to Mahuli, which is one among the challenging regions of the majestic Sahyadris, and it is the highest point in the Thane district. Adorned with fabulous hill forts and peaks, Mahuli is one among the favourite place of trekkers. Like all other hilly areas of Sahyadris, Mahuli is also surrounded by luxurious thick forest, and the forest around this hilly place is declared as a national reserve. Activity.... Night Hike to Gorakhgad, which is a small fort near Murbad, Kalyan. From Dehri village can be seen two prominent pinnacles - the smaller one is Machchindragad and bigger one is Gorakhgad. Gorakhgad is an easy yet extremely adventurous trek with steep narrow steps and climbs. Gorakhgad attracts trekkers due to its inviting pinnacles. This region of Gorakhgad and Machchindragad has a dense forest cover.

Activity:
Night Hike to Naneghat, which
is situated at
about 55 Km from Kalyan. One can reach the base
village Vaishakare by boarding the state
transport bus passing through Malshej Ghat. From
Vaishakare it's about 1/2 a hour walk along the
road to Malshej Ghat to reach the divergence for
Nane Ghat. Now there is board indicating the
divergence so there will be no difficulty in
finding the divergence. Once a divergence is
taken, it is about 2-3 hours climb to the
summit.
