Trek N Raft Ladakh

Attractions: Leh – Alchi – Trekking – Rafting – Pangong Tso – Nubra Valley

DAY 01: A thrilling early morning flight to Leh. The crisp air of Leh welcomes when one disembarks from the airplane. Transfer to hotel. A briefing on the day’s program and then rest for the first half of day for acclimatization. After lunch go for an easy and relaxed orientation walk to Leh market. O/N LEH.

DAY 02: Morning proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. Visit to SHEY PALACE -The ancient capital of Ladakh. Visit famous THIKSAY GOMPA and HEMIS GOMPA. O/N LEH

DAY 03: Post breakfast, you drive towards Western Ladakh. A combination of driving and rafting trip on River Indus, the scenic rafting trip ends at Nimo. Drive straight to our camp at Ulley Tokpo. A relaxed evening. O/N ULLEY, ALCHI.

DAY 04: Visit the secluded Rizdong monastery and drive further to visit Lamayuru monastery, en-route enjoy spectacular view of Moon-land Terrain. Drive back to Leh via Patthar Sahib Gurudwara and Magnetic hill. Evening free for shopping in Leh. O/N LEH.

DAY 05: Drive to Stok village and begin a day hike into Stok gorge. This is an interesting and popular short trek to reach the shepherd camp and to enjoy the view of poplar Stok Kangri at 6200 mtrs. The to and fro hike would be of approx. 5 to 6 hours, where one can enjoy unique rock formations on the way. Visit Stok Palace and Museum and our vehicle will pick you up and drive back to hotel. O/N LEH.

Day 06: Early morning drive to Pangong lake (approx. 05 hrs) Enjoy the turquoise panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains. Afternoon drive back to Leh, O/H LEH.

Day 07: Drive to Nubra Valley, the Northern tip of Ladakh, crossing Khardhung-la at 18380ft (Considered World’s Highest Motorable Road). Enjoy the panoramic view of Zanskar and Ladakh ranges and the Karakoram further north. Drive down towards Shyok River. Evening visit the Samstanling monastery. O/N DELUXE TENTED CAMP.

Day 08: Post breakfast, visit Diskit monastery (optional Camel Safari) and drive back to Leh. O/N LEH

Day 09: Transfer to the airport and fly back to Delhi.

Terms & Conditions:

• Prices valid from 01^st January 2009 to 31^st December 2009.
• Prices valid for minimum 02, 04 & 06 pax traveling together in one vehicle.
• 100% payment to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
• For the Month Jan – April & October – Dec we will provide Vehicle & Rooms with Heaters.
• During Off Season Heaters will be provided for Accommodation and Vehicle without any extra charges.
• Blocking of Rooms will be hold for period of 5 days only.
• Journey can be arranged from Delhi / Chandigarh / Jammu Railway Station or Airport at Extra charges.

CANCELLATION BY ‘YOU’ AND REFUND POLICY:
Wild Escapes must receive notification of cancellation in writing. At the time we receive your written cancellation, refunds based on the total fare are as follows:
- Cancellation more than 30 days prior to departure = 50% refund
- Cancellation 15-29 days prior to departure = 25% refund
- Cancellation less than 15 days prior to departure = no refund

CANCELLATION BY ‘WILD ESCAPES’ AND REFUND POLICY:
- ‘WILD ESCAPES’ reserves the right to cancel a tour if the minimum numbers of persons as specified, do not book on the tour.
- ‘WILD ESCAPES’ reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking if we consider it necessary. In such cases, we shall refund all the money that you have paid.
- If cancellation or alteration by ‘WILD ESCAPES’ is caused by events including war or threat of war, strikes, civil strife, natural disaster, technical or political difficulties affecting air or ground transport, or events amounting to force majeure, this will naturally limit our liability. If such events occur before the departure date, we will do our best to make alternative arrangements.
