Itinerary:

Day 01: Bombay – Chandigarh… Report at 10:00 hrs. at Mumbai Central stn.

Day 02: Chandigarh - Manali... Reach 11:00 hrs. Board Non A/c Bus from Chandigarh to Manali at 16:30 hrs. (O/N Bus)

Day 03: Manali... Reach Manali by morning and check-in to a hotel. Basically a relaxing day... time for the body and mind to acclimatize to the high altitudes. This process of acclimatization is one of the most important components of any trip to the high altitudes. (O/N Hotel - Manali)

Day 04: Manali - Jispa... Leave Manali early morning after breakfast. Experience the dramatic change as you cross the Rohtang pass(13,050 ft.) and enter Lahual valley. Reach Jispa around evening. Evening Tea break at Bharatpur and reach campsite at Sarchu, situated on the banks of River Bhaga by evening. (O/N Jispa)

Day 05: Jispa - Leh... Start early today as its a long journey to Leh. After crossing Sarchu, situated on the banks of River Bhaga, you go through Lachulung La (16,617 ft.) and reach Pang around Lunch time. En route you can capture the incredible, ever-changing, cold desert scenery. Driving along the Indus River, crossing Tanglang La (17,585 ft.) one reaches Leh. (O/N Hotel - Leh)

Day 06: Leh... Rest + Walking Tour in Leh. (O/N Hotel - Leh)

Day 07: Leh - Rafting - Leh... Post breakfast, you drive towards Western Ladakh. A combination of driving and rafting trip on River Indus, the scenic rafting trip ends at Nimo. Drive back to Leh. A relaxed evening. (O/N Hotel - Leh)

Day 08: Leh - Pangong - Leh... Leave for Pangong Tso through Chang La (17,350 ft), one of the highlights of the Ladakh Experience on the Indo-Tibetan border. Pangong Lake lies at a altitude of 14,500ft, with blue-green shades of tranquil brackish water and surrounded on all sides by snow-capped high mountains. In the evening return to Leh. (O/N Hotel - Leh)

Day 09: Leh - Nubra Valley... After breakfast Leave for Nubra valley via Khardung La (Highest Motorable Road on Planet Earth). Reach Nubra Valley for lunch, explore Deskit and Hunder villages for rest of the day. Here's where you can enjoy two-humped camel safari on sand dunes. (O/N Campsite - Nubra)

Day 10: Nubra Valley - Leh... After breakfast leave for Leh. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Fort on the way. (O/N Hotel - Leh)

DAY 11: Leh - Manali... Spend the day in Leh. Catch a vehicle back to Manali at Midnight.

Day 12: Manali... Stay in Manali. (O/N Hotel – Manali)

Day 13: Manali – Chandigarh… Board Non A/c Bus to Chandigarh.

Day 14: Chandigarh – Bombay… Catch a train to Bombay.

Day 15: Bombay… Back to reality.

  • All expenses incurred due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances like Road blocks, bad weather.

Who can go on the trip??…. Anyone who is capable of taking care of oneself and is not suffering from any life-threatening disease. You should also be ready to pack light. People with ailments of the heart, blood pressure, etc. are advised not to consider this trip.

  • The cost mentioned is for Indian Citizens only. Foreigners and NRIs may have to pay extra wherever required. 
  • We will try our best to follow the above mentioned itinerary. However, there may be certain last-minute changes to the itinerary due to factors which remain out of our control. 
  • Child above 12 years will be charged full amount. 
  • The ecology of the wilderness is very fragile. Be eco-friendly. Littering is strictly banned.
  • This is not an ordinary trip. It is ideal for those who travel to learn, grow and enjoy nature, not rest and shop.
  • The difficulty level of this trip is very subjective. Weather conditions, physical condition, possible health problems and other factors can have an important influence on the way you experience the trip.
  • The trip is subjected to various parameters. We advise participants to pack only curiosity and leave expectations at home.
  • For team safety, please inform us if participants have any history of serious illness, injury or are on any medication.
  • Prices valid from 01st January 2009 to 31st December 2009.
  • Prices valid for minimum 10 people traveling together in one vehicle.
  • 100% payment to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
  • For the Month Jan – April & October – Dec we will provide Vehicle & Rooms with Heaters.
  • During Off Season, Heaters will be provided for Accommodation and Vehicle without any extra charges.
  • Blocking of Rooms will be hold for period of 5 days only.
  • Journey can be arranged from Delhi / Chandigarh / Jammu Railway Station or Airport at Extra charges.

CANCELLATION BY ‘YOU’ AND REFUND POLICY:

Wild Escapes must receive notification of cancellation in writing. At the time we receive your written cancellation, refunds based on the total fare are as follows:
- Cancellation more than 30 days prior to departure = 50% refund
- Cancellation 15-29 days prior to departure = 25% refund
- Cancellation less than 15 days prior to departure = no refund

CANCELLATION BY ‘WILD ESCAPES’ AND REFUND POLICY:

- ‘WILD ESCAPES’ reserves the right to cancel a tour if the minimum numbers of persons as specified, do not book on the tour.
- ‘WILD ESCAPES’ reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking if we consider it necessary. In such cases, we shall refund all the money that you have paid.
- If cancellation or alteration by ‘WILD ESCAPES’ is caused by events including war or threat of war, strikes, civil strife, natural disaster, technical or political difficulties affecting air or ground transport, or events amounting to force majeure, this will naturally limit our liability. If such events occur before the departure date, we will do our best to make alternative arrangements.
