Escape To Ladakh

Duration: 6 Nights / 7 Days

Attractions: Leh – Alchi – Palaces – Monasteries – Pangong Tso – Khardung La – Nubra Valley

Day 01: Arrival at Leh after a spectacular trans-Himalayan flight. Transfer to Hotel and rest for acclimatization. Evening visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, Hall of fame and Shanti Stupa. O/N LEH.

Day 02: Leh to Uley-Tokpo (70 Kms). Post breakfast drive to Likir monastery on way visit Patthar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill and the Sangam of Indus & Zanskar rivers. Check in at West Ladakh Camps & Resorts at Ulley Tokpo. O/N ULLEY TOKPO, ALCHI.

Day 03: After breakfast drive Back to Leh. En-route visit Basgo castle. Further visit SHEY PALACE -The ancient capital of Ladakh, The most famous THIKSAY GOMPA and HEMIS GOMPA, later visit STOK PALACE and MUSEUM - the Royal residence of the King of Stok. O/N LEH.

Day 04: Early morning drive to Pangong lake (approx. 05 hrs) Enjoy the turquoise panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains. Afternoon drive back to Leh, O/H LEH.

Day 05: Drive to Nubra Valley, the Northern tip of Ladakh, crossing Khardhung-la at 18380ft (Considered World’s Highest Motorable Road). Enjoy the panoramic view of Zanskar and Ladakh ranges and the Karakoram further north. Drive down towards Shyok River. Evening visit the Samstanling monastery. O/N DELUXE TENTED CAMP.

Day 06: Post breakfast, visit Diskit monastery (optional Camel Safari) and drive back to Leh. O/N LEH

Day 07: Transfer to the airport and fly back to Delhi.

• Prices valid from 01^st January 2009 to 31^st December 2009.
• Prices valid for minimum 02, 04 & 06 pax traveling together in one vehicle.
• 100% payment to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
• For the Month Jan – April & October – Dec we will provide Vehicle & Rooms with Heaters.
• During Off Season Heaters will be provided for Accommodation and Vehicle without any extra charges.
• Blocking of Rooms will be hold for period of 5 days only.
• Journey can be arranged from Delhi / Chandigarh / Jammu Railway Station or Airport at Extra charges.

CANCELLATION BY ‘YOU’ AND REFUND POLICY:
Wild Escapes must receive notification of cancellation in writing. At the time we receive your written cancellation, refunds based on the total fare are as follows:
- Cancellation more than 30 days prior to departure = 50% refund
- Cancellation 15-29 days prior to departure = 25% refund
- Cancellation less than 15 days prior to departure = no refund

CANCELLATION BY ‘WILD ESCAPES’ AND REFUND POLICY:
- ‘WILD ESCAPES’ reserves the right to cancel a tour if the minimum numbers of persons as specified, do not book on the tour.
- ‘WILD ESCAPES’ reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking if we consider it necessary. In such cases, we shall refund all the money that you have paid.
- If cancellation or alteration by ‘WILD ESCAPES’ is caused by events including war or threat of war, strikes, civil strife, natural disaster, technical or political difficulties affecting air or ground transport, or events amounting to force majeure, this will naturally limit our liability. If such events occur before the departure date, we will do our best to make alternative arrangements.
